Not sure how much this will help others, but recently I purchased an SVT 40 and after watching a few dissassembly videos I tacked it to clean it up of cosmo.
When it came down to removing the cross pin I was in the process of using a die grinder to cut a slot in a bolt to remove the pin with and looked up on the shelf...
I also own a 1851 Navy Colt and lo and behold sitting on the shelf infront of me was the nipple wrench, It fits perfectly.
Anyone looking for a tool that fits perfect and will not mar anything up, check out the Nipple Wrench for an old or replica BP Colt
