SVT 40 Front sight tool?

Is there anything special about the svt front sight tool or will a sks tool work?

sks tool works on mine, but only for elevation. windage is adjusted by old russian method with hammer and punch.

That's what I want it for... Elevation..

SVT40 zeroed at 100 meters with rear sight set at 3 (300m). So if you try shooting this way it may be just dead on target, and you may not even need to adjust your sights at all.

Thanks I'll try that.. I was shooting at the 100 meter setting..
