I'm new to this, so bear with me.

I recently bought a reproduction PU scope and mount for my SVT-40. The mount fits great, and the scope fits perfectly in the rings.

There's just one problem. The rings are bent to the left. So I tried fixing it with the windage adjustments on the scope.

Maxed out the windage, it lines up. At about 10m to the target.

I haven't taken it out to shoot yet, but I can't imagine how bad it will be at 100m.

I don't know what to do.
Do I ask for a replacement? Hit it with a hammer until it's straight? Spend a fortune at a gunsmith? I can't really shim it because everything fits really well.

Looking for some advice.

Thanks.

If u cant shim it, then exchange it and hope for better.

I bought one of those reproduction mounts of ebay years ago, rings were aimed way too high,so took a chance, put it under the hydraulic press and very carefully pressed them down until they were parallel with the base, with a bit of shimming it shhots pretty decent now.
You may have to do something similar.
