Hey all,
I need a favour from any of you out there with a minty condition SVT-40.
My upper handguard is junk, the front tip which sits under the upper metal handuard was broken at some point and never replaced/repaired during arsenal refurbish.
It's so thin in one spot that the barrel band slips forward when firing and the whole assembly starts to shake apart
My brother is a master woodworker and he laughed when I showed him the piece and asked if he could make a new one lol.
Can someone post a detailed pic or pics of the front piece of the upper wooden handguard so I can get him an idea of what it is supposed to look like?
