SVT 40 Value

Hello

I'm looking to get a rough value estimate on my SVT 40.

Its a 1943 refrub matching numbers, mag is force matched.

The bore is is good shape and it has an AVT 40 stock as indicated by the A stamped on the stock.

I will post pictures later but a ball park value would be appreciated

Refurbs are going for consistently higher rates at auction and on commercial sellers sites. If it truly has an above average bore I'd suggest you might be able to get $900 plus for it if you're patient. A lot of guys are still looking for bargains and won't accept that they cannot be bought for the same prices as when they were imported in fairly large numbers and dumped into the market. I've sold a number of them at gunshows (in the last two years) and it was truly painful watching the sad faces if you had a price of $600+ on a good SVT. I had a few with truly excellent bores and it was surprising how hard it was to actually get people to look in the bore- price was all that mattered.
