Svt 40

I picked up an svt 40 and would like to replace the flash hider. I can't remove the old one. Would anyone be in the Montréal area and be willing to help me out, it would be appreciated?

Good vid to watch, but if you're just after removal of the flash suppressor start @ 20:40.

I got to part where it's supposed to unthtead but it seems seized. Was hoping someone with more experience could help me out.Thanks

try spraying the stuff you use to remove rusty nuts/bolts and let it soak in for a day or two

Use a propane torch to heat it up in the area where it is threaded to the barrel.

After a night soaking in anti seize and a few minutes with the torch,it's off and the new one is installed. Thanks for the help
