Some of us were having a great discussion regarding SVT variations and I decided to come up with a simple to fill out data sheet. If we share this information and perhaps make this a 'Sticky', history will not be lost.
There is already one SVT 'Sticky' if you need help with the variations. The following site is very useful: http://mosinnagant.net/ussr/SVTsection.asp
If it was not for the Cyrillic writing/western keyboards, we could have recorded more information.

Problem with this is info from refurbs has to be limited to barreled receiver. Everything else is mismatched and there's nothing to gain by tracking refurb trends, as there likely isn't any.

Under bolt carrier, add "black"

A fellow gun nut on here by the name "Beater" has a few left for sale out of his crate that have, in his words "black, black bolts." I thought it was a trick of the light but he's sent additional pictures. Check out his listing on the EE and you'll see what I mean...

Hmm...Do you know are those painted bolts (like early SKS imports)? Or did they come out black in the re-blue/re-finish?
