SVT Mag Disassemble

My SVT mag looks awful, it's not clean looking at all. I pulled it out today and heard a rattling in it, so checked how to disassemble it and clear it of a piece of metal (what I think it is). From the videos I saw on youtube it seems simple, but wasn't able to get it apart.
My question is- because it is Canadian and pinned to 5 am I unable to take it apart?
Am I missing something?

I think it depends if it was weld shut or not. FYI Trade Ex has SVT 40 mags for $80 CDN. These are not easy to find. When mine gets here I'll check to see if it can be disassembled.
 
No problem on my pinned mag. Push in the little tit with it a bullet or something similar and slide it forward. Interior piece is the spring bottom platform.

Yeah- I've tried that. Saw that on some youtube clips but the little (nipples?) won't move (at all!). Not sure if it's been welded or whats going on!
 
Checked my Trade Ex mag today - you can slide the base plate off to disassemble the mag - just watch out for that spring. There's a strip of metal welded or machined on the inside to pin it to 5 rounds - the feeding ramp won't slide past it. But this mag should be easy to clean. Nicely machined and blued.

Definitely new manufacture - stamped Russian Tokarev Semi Auto Rifle 7.62x54R with a serial # or a zip code??? in English on the side.
