Hey assasin,
Here's the rundown on old slav####.
They will shoot. They will shoot reliably. Accuracy will be -fair-, and it will be almost regardless of how bore/rifle condition looks like ( given some exceptions ).
Most of them will be rearsenalized. They will have had major problems replaced, which is very good. This is much better than trying to get "collectible, rare slav-####".
They will be shooters, and ugly guns if you nitpick faults, but they will make you smile.
Forget the dings on the stock and pull the trigger on getting one, you won't regret it.

I bought one from sfrc last summer. It was in beautiful condition, but I cant speak for their current stock as I think it is from a different shippment. A real joy to shoot too. Think super sks; a little more recoil and a lot more noise. Enough power to take down large game too.
