I bought an svt40 recently and it came with a bayonet as well. I think it is an Izshevsk made bayonet going by the markings , it has the blade edge facing down when attached to the rifle. Is it worth much money on it’s own ? / does it add value to the rifle when sold with it included ?
I don’t plan on selling it currently but would like to know the approximate value of it if anyone can help with that.

SVT40 were all short. I assume 40 or 38 OP was able to identify himself.

I’ve got a regular length one, and one that’s as long as my forearm. Totally ruins accuracy but nobody will come anywhere near you when it is mounted to the rifle. I think it is a parade version.

I don’t know if it’s refurb or not , it looks about as used as the rifle ie well used.
From looking at pics online it’s the short version. It looks old and used but not damaged. I googled around and it looks a lot like the ones that are going online for around the $200 range. My rifle actually shoots much better with the bayonet attached so I think I’ll just hang onto it and keep it.

There's no such thing as parade version. Those are fakes. That's why price range starts with $10.

I have one of the fakes and they are exactly the same as the original except well newer and mine has some type of i believe polish stamp. Side by side other than wear and tear signs on the original i have its basically the same. Still values vary by quite a bit.
