SVT40 Bayonet

Just picked up an SVT40 bayonet off of eBay and it just arrived today. In looking at it, the belt loop on the scabbard is completely done. Has anyone replaced this with something close to the original material? Where might I find a replacement for it?

Any original is better then repro in my opinion.
I'd leave it.

Actually I got it from a dealer from Bulgaria who had a number of them. Costs me about $155 CDN plus shipping. Figured I should complete the rifle.
