Hey guys has anyone had problems with PRC ammo fired from your SVT40 rifles? Mine will only shoot the Russuan surplus stuff that has the red ring around the primer and another red ring around the neck where bullet is inserted into shell. I have no more of the ones with the red rings and I ended up buying 880 rounds that my rifle doesn't like, is there anything I can try to make it work. There is a nice deep dent on the primer when I pull the trigger but they wont fire, I reached down and used the Russian rounds and they fired flawlessly.

The chinesse ammo are awesome to fail to fire and split case. I have the russian ammo like you says for now they run well .i bought them at wholesale in edmonton A little far for you . I can remember some topic about that issue

yeah its normal the Chinese surplus always seems to fail to fire in the svt but is fine in the mosin I use the Romanian and Russian surplus works fine
