There's no info about any difference in function. Looks like it's just the matte finish and smooth cylinder exterior, and the fancy engraved model name on it.

I think it looks pretty sweet. If I was in the market for one, I'd buy that beauty at Easthill right now. Traded one of my Caniks for a used 686 4.25 though.
