SW1911 Rear Dovetail Cut

Good day all.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the dovetail cut for the rear sight is an LPA cut on the SW1911?

I want to replace the fixed sight with an adjustable one but I don't want to order one for the LPA cut if its not going to fit.

If anyone can confirm this for me I would sure appreciate it.
 
Your best bet for a target adjustable sight that works and is rugged and repeatable, is a BoMar - these sights should be mounted into a proper cut in the slide. The cut to mount the sight is generally not too expensive. There is also an adjustable version of the Novak (more of a combat sight with some adjustability thrown in), that also requires it's own cut, same deal. Add on sights that are adjustable and use the same dovetail tend to end up looking bad and working worse. The factory adjustable sights on the Browning Hi Power come to mind.
