I just got my new notching die from BT_Sniper. Works super! It's a universal die and can be used on 9mm up to .45 cal!!
Here's a few pics.

This pic shows the two parts of the bullet: The .40 cal case and the cast core(175 grs) The middle pic shows the core seated and the case notched with the new die. The right pic shows the bullet formed and cannelured. You will notice the two different size notches. That's done with die adjustment. I prefer the longer notches, myself. The bullet goes 245 grs. Should go real good ahead of 20 grs of 2400 in my 8 3/8" M-29!

Very nice! I've been trying to buy a set of .451" dies from Brian for over 2 months now. He's so damned hard to deal with! Takes forever to respond to messages, I wish he had a website or something instead of just cast boolits. Are you using the BT_Sniper swage dies as well? The bullet profile looks a little "off" from the BT dies. Also looks a little different from my CH4D dies.

Brian is a little slow with returning messages. He's a stay at home Dad and runs his "one man" business. He has answered all my messages and even called me at home to answer questions.
My .44 dies are CH, about 40 years old, long before CH4D. I bought them from Giovanni's in Toronto for $37.95!!!

I enjoy swaging as much, if not more, than any other aspect of the shooting sport. It's a shame that CH4D has decided to stop manufacturing their swaging dies. Best value for the $$$ for swaging dies IMHO!!
