Just a query on comparitive values, would anyone swap a Nor 305 for my Long Lee ie MLE MKI* 303, ex-Canadian forces and M&D marked? should there be a cash difference either way. Thanks for any opinions.
Cheers

You don't mention the condition of your Long Lee, but if it is a nice one, its worth somewhat more than a stock M-305.

Let's see now... The last Long Lee I saw that was in good shape was selling for over $1000... The Chinese M-14 wannabe is retailing for what? $400? $450? (of course, then you have to replace a bunch of parts to make it reliable, so keep that in mind...)

I'd say your Lee is worth two or three M-305's, costwise.

But that is just my opinion - Please take it with a grain of salt!

Cheers,

Neal

When was the last time you saw an intact MLE in the EE for $400? Do you know what a Long Lee is?

I bought a real nice LSA MLE MkI not that long ago for $200, missing the bolt, but still had it clearing rod....(and I just happen to of had a spare bolt, with no serial number on it....) Little wonders still happen... hee hee :D

In a heartbeat.

If you are serious, I'd trade you your Long Tom for my Norinco M14 any day.

Depending on condition, condition and, oh yes, condition, it could be a trade with $$$ either way.

A MLE can go from $100 to $1000 depending on manufacturer, year, and........condition. The cheapest MLE I ever bought was a $75 Bubba (Hmmm, it seems that that is all I ever buy  ), and then I spent about $300-400 in parts fixing it up.

Ballpark would be 300-400 for something that was complete, then upwards towards the sky depending on, you guessed it, condition.

What is a Norinco worth to you? :)
