Swaping scope on 2 rifles??

Hello all,

just had a thought, looking at the new Tikka t3 varmint in 300 mag, I already have a 695 in 270 that I love with quick detach rings on it.... anybody know if I could switch the scope straight?

Just wondering If I can save a scope..

In theory you can, provided yu have the same mounts on both rifle. However, you'd have to sight in every time you switch. Sooner or later the rings to mount fit would get loose too.
It's kind of odd that any manufacturer would call a .300 mag rifle a 'varmint' rifle. The .300 mag chambering must be very new as it doesn't appear on Beretta's site.
