Swapping barrels. Headspace?

Looking to swap out a barrel on a Husqvarna 648 (FN commercial 98) same caliber, better condition.

The production dates are within a year of each other. Will it take? or will there be a significant change in headspace from variations in the threading? What are the inherent issues with doing so?

Or are they all built to spec for interchangeability?

It may headspace but the chances of the barrel stampings coming up right are about zero, I have done this many, many times and have always had to cut the shoulder to bring up the lettering then recut the chamber.

Hosnestly, I don't see the point if both are the same actions...

take it to a gunsmith, it might work fine it might not. are you willing to risk the gun, your face or worse for a couple hundred bucks or less?? Anybody who tells you different have them shoot the gun. If you dont have the proper tools,equipment and knowledge to swap barrels and check and correct headspace, then you are playing russian roulette.
