Swapping bolt between M14 rifles

Has anyone done it? Having some bolt problems on my new M14 and I'm wondering if it would be easier just to swap the bolt with my old M14. They're both used, so I'm not sure if there would be spacing issues and my #### would fall off.
Mostly I'm just curious if people do it.
 
You can do it but i would want to make sure that both lugs are bearing evenly, and that headspace isn't too tight or astronomically long.

The reason I want to try it is because it lokos like one of the lugs isn't wearing properly. The face of the lug doesn't have any wear (there's some on the bottom)

That's a good link. Claven2 is also a member here. Excellent link for those looking to lap bolts.

Uneven lug bearing can also be addressed (*with limitations) by following the same steps as Claven shows in the link.
Using the spring loaded tool, lapping compound on the side that IS bearing and felt pen or machinist blue on the lug that is not. Lap the full bearing bolt lug until the pattern in the blued lug shows it's bearing 80% or better.
Some would argue this may not be safe on chinese bolts and in some cases that may be true.
