Swapping bolts in two husqvarna rifles.

I have two husqvarna rifles both are 98 actions. I like the safety on one and not on the other. I want to keep the second gun. Can i safely swap bolts on the two rifles? Would headspace be a problem? Thx

You will not know until you do it and check the headspace of each using steel gauges, and then test the functioning of each.

Assuming the rifles are the same caliber or cartridge family they might swap out. You need to take them to a gunsmith who will for a small fee check the headspace of each rifle with proper go/no-go gauges. A few seconds late

This would be my first option i looked into, that way you avoid any possible headspace issues.

Swaping the safeties / triggers if of course the best option. Swaping bolts, if the headspace is OK, may also devaluate your rifles, especially if the S/Ns are electro-penciled, as you will end up with mismatched rifles.

Thanks everybody for your help. I swapped the bolt shrouds and safeties and everything seems to work fine. Tried to get the safeties to fail but couldn't.
