Guess?
I was wondering if anyone has swapped the forend on their Renegade? I want to take advantage of the monolithic pic rail on a forend removed from an AR, but the barrell nut on the Renagade is longer, and the forend I want to use only seems to accomodate the barrell nut on an AR. There is a slight ridge on the inside of the the AR forend that wont slip further down the nut and sit flush with the receiver. Possibly a cheap forend, and it wont work, but curious.

Cheers

You could remove the MRA barrel nut with a torque wrench and replace with an AR nut that will work with your AR handguard. Alternatively, you could perhaps grind/file the ridge down on the inside of your AR handguard to accommodate the MRA nut. I would probably try the former first..
