Swarovski binos?

I have a question to those who own any Swarovski binocular . I know it is one of the best (if not the best ) . Is it worth $3000?

Con't comment on their Binos.

I just bought a Swarovski Z3 rifle scope, and I've used their spotting scopes. Very impressive stuff, all of it.

Man, for the fun of it... I lined up my Swarovski next to my Bushnell trophy... and :eek: what a difference in clarity and quality. And this is with a bottom of the line Swarovski too...

To me yes. They really allow my eyes to maintain depth perception unlike any others I look through, for some it's zeiss for others it's swarovski. To really test them look at a tree line and see how well you can identify objects well inside the tree line, especially in low light. I wouldn't buy anything else.
 
I have no problems spending considerable amounts on a good pair of binoculars, because I use them a great deal. Try spending several hours each day for a week glassing for sheep with a cheap pair of binoculars, then do the same with a high quality pair, and you will soon see the difference.

Worth every penny............I have a set of 8 X 30 SLC and they are a treasure...they gather light much better than cheaper brands.....they are very expensive but are a lifetime purchase........
 
I've got a set of 10x42 EL and they are worth every penny. My biggest fear was that I would find a way to ruin the clarity through years of abuse in the bush. I've had them since 2004 and they're still as clear as the day I first brought them to my eyes.
 
Are they worth it ? Absolutely.

Can you buy quality products without dropping $3000 ? Absolutely.

If you have an optics budget of $4000 and need a good set of binos, a rangefinder, and scope/rings, I would be careful about dropping that much coin on one optic. However, if budget is just word that makes you spit on the ground, give'r. They are very good. I just would not sacrifice quality in other areas for the sake of an extremely good pair of binos.
 
For really high budgets like that you might want to look at Leica stuff as well.
 
The new for 2011 Vortex Razor HDs are stunning. I looked through a pair at a store in Toronto, also tried the Swaro's and Zeis which are awesome too but were considerably more money. The Razors were about $1500, that leaves a lot of room for other stuff!
