Hello all, I have an opportunity to help get my buddy a present from his wife for Christmas. My plan is to get me, I ,I, I, mean him a swavovski 8x30 rangefinder. Does anyone know where the cheapest place to get one on our side of the border would be? Thanks in advance, CDOG.

Next to the Leica Geovids, the Swarovski 8x30 has my vote. I would recommend giving Doug a ring on this one. Keep in mind the risk of paying for two duty charges.

When the Austrian product crosses the border, if customs inspects and identifies it is from Austria, you might find yourself paying the USA Austrian duty (built in price) and the Cdn Austrian Duty Rate.
