I have nice Carl Gustaf M96 FSR rifle that I bought from another CGN'er, but unfortunately it only came with one insert for the front globe sight. It makes it difficult to shoot anything but bulls. I know that's what it was designed for, but it would be nice to have a post or crosshairs for casual shooting.
The insert I have is:
Outside of tabs: .864in/21.9mm
Outside of circle: .628in/15.9mm
Larger tab : .16in/3.98mm
Smaller tab : .119in/2.98mm

The picture compares it to a Redfield Olympic insert (the clear one) The sight body has no markings. The insert is marked 3.0
I'm just wondering if anybody has any ideas where to get more? I sent an email to Lee Shaver, who makes cards of inserts, but I don't think any of his will fit.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Almost the same as Anschutz, but not quite. Anschutz is slightly larger in diameter and the tabs are a little different.
It's probably the closest though.
The Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association air rifle range is literally across the street from me, I'll see if I can drop in and see if those guys have an idea. They actually have some pretty fancy rigs, I should have thought of that sooner..

Specs for all the sights:
Redfield/Alley - .550" (14mm) dia. Fits Redfield 65/66 and Alley globe sights. Large Lyman/Anschutz - .675" (17.1mm) dia., Parker-Hale - .587" (14.9mm) dia.
You can compare the tabs and location of the tabs here

Shhhiittt. Might be WJF sized and hard to find.

Lee Shaver, who makes the cards Brownell's sells, has all the info on his website, I'm just waiting to hear back from him. It's looking like it's going to be some oddball size.
The thing is these and the more common Elit sights were made to fit over the military front sight base so they could be put back into service if ever needed, so it's not so easy as just mounting another brand of sight on a front block.

I didn't know the swedes invented Robertson screws?

You're right, but they, or somebody anyway sure knew how to strip soft aluminum or alloy. The screws that were in it just spun freely, I had to push from the back side while twisting to get them out A quick run with a 6-32tap, and good as new.
I guess whoever had it before me was a bit heavy-handed. The screws that hold the rear diopter were also stripped.

Thanks for your help.
I'm going to go across the street and talk to the Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association guys too, you never know, hopefully someone will say "oh yea, I've got some of those sitting in my basement!"
Or maybe at least I could try some to see if anything fits in mine.

So I finally talked to the Provincial Rifle Association guys, and success! He said they don't use the metal inserts any more, so here's a box full of old ones, see what fits and help yourself!
Super nice, even offered to let me take a couple of shots, but I didn't want to embarrass myself. It's only 10m, but the target is tiny! I give them a lot of credit. The electronic target and scoring is really cool.
