i am taking on a ag42 project that bubba had a go at. couple Qs

ive read that there are modern made repro magazine available any one know if any canadian seller has them, or any original mags ?

also read the egyptian hakim mags can work on the ag42 since the 2 rifles are so similar. true or no?

also i plan to try and restore the cut off wood stock like fixing a duffle cut stock

any one know sellers or smiths who may be able to help with wood ...............or anyone try this themself ?

Never heard of repro mags for either the AG42b or Hakim but magazines do interchange between them.

i was google searching and seen them modern copies being sold by us sellers / gun shops listed as for the hakim rifles but i did kind of know the ag42 and hakim were so similar mags should fit . hoping some made it to canada since i require at least 1 .

MG13 mags with a few mods work in a Hak - might be worth trying in an AG

That sucks you dont have a magazine. They wete never meant to be removed unless cleaning.

Mags aren’t the easiest to find and aren’t cheap when you do. I haven’t heard of repro being made but would be nice if they did. Was some parts on GP but someone grabbed them before I could. I was really surprised by the accuracy of mine. Parts are around but don’t come up often.

may have been me grabbed a project bubba ag42 from one guy and a parts lot from another on goon post, ...........as to mags if you googl-ize it repro mags are shown available from the usa from time to time for ag42 and or the hakim ........... even got a leed on a AG42B stock to help restore mine wich is CUT DOWN makes me wonder WHY !
