Swedish M1 Garand stocks fibreglass?

Recently espied footage of a ceremonial guard in Stockholm. It was not close up of course. The clip showed the guards carrying what appeared to be M1 rifles with olive green stocks & M5 bayonets. Assiuming it was not a mistake of some kind, are these stocks just green painted wood or are they fibreglass? Moot pt as they would not be available here anyways.

You sure it was Sweden and not Denmark? Seems a bit weird for the Swedish to have them considering they never adopted them.

Probably painted there was a company who made plastic stock sets for m1 rifles
Could be some of those, have a set , but never thought it was much better than wood

Or maybe Norway? The Danes uses C7's now (and I've seen them on parade in Copenhagen with the C7s).

Well you know I could be mistaken, but they looked like M-1's to me. In addition this vid clip was a commercial clip designed to give you something to watch on a massage chair. So that has to be taken into account.

I guess the Boyd laminate stockset is the closest to something like that. Bell & Carlson does not currently make the glass filled polycarbonate stockset any longer.

Tbh I never saw anything wrong with any of Uncle Sam's M1 riflestocks.
