Hello,
As some of you know, I am restoring an 1894 Swedish Carbine back to full military configuration. I recently picked up this bayonet for the carbine from P&S Militaria (Great folks!). It is in excellent condition for it's age, the wood grips are perfect, and the blade is nice and shiny. However, it has a marking on it that I find interesting, what can anyone here tell me about the origin or service of this bayonet? It almost looks like an anchor on the blade... could this be a contract bayonet for the Swedish Navy?
Any ideas who made it? More pictures are availiable if wanted.
Any information at all on the bayonet, when they were produced etc is welcome!
Thanks,
Drachenblut
