Swedish M96 Follower mod ?

Is it possible to grind the follower at an angle to be able to close the bolt without any rounds in the rifle ?

Any one here did it ?

Yes it is possible, have not done it myself but have had Swedish Mauser sporters with the the rear of the follower ground at about 45 degrees and they work fine.

Have done it. Worked great. You have to grind the follower plate on the rib side and just a bit off the back where the bottom of the bolt contacts the follower plate . Just enough for the bolt to climb over the plate and push it down. Just bought a Spanish Cavalry Carbine that will be getting the same treatment when I can find the time.
