Swedish Mauser 6.5x55 Husqvarna Conversion From Top Load to Bottom Fed Magazine?

Afternoon

I am posting this for a friend. It is not my rifle. I apologize if the information is too vague.

He has the above aforementioned rifle. He wants to somehow make it utilize a bottom fed magazine instead of the standard top load or stripper clips. Apparently some people in Europe have done this conversion.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to some more information on how to possibly do this?

I don`t know much about Mausers so maybe an expert can chime in here but I thought the Husky Mausers are M98 large rings so the detachable mag kit in the link below should fit. Get some more specific information on it and msg trade ex to make sure though.

Swede Mausers are actually small ring. That being said, if it can be done for 98s, I'm sure it's possible for 96's. Quick Google search didn't turn up anything
