I'll make it quick and short:

So the 0 marked on this disk, does it mean it's a Zero: 6.46 (brand new) or should it be read as 10 which the worst reading of 6.50 for the interior bore diameter.

On first inspection the bore probably perfect (new) and was 6.50mm, on last inspection it was rated as having a number 1 graded bore (or very good with slight wear) and now was worn to 6.51mm.

Now what it is diameter wise is dependent on how well it was looked after and shot since the last armourer inspection.

Thanks but I'm still unclear as how to interpret the zero in relevance to the 6.46. I know the numbers should replace the last digit being the 6, and that these were replaced when it reached a diameter of 6.49, so the 0 doesn't mean that it's a 6.50?

It goes as such, 6.46 being minimum and then follows as 6.47, 6.48, 6.49, 6.50 and then moves to the next ring makings of 6.51, 6.52 etc, through to 6.59 and then if it measured higher than this (6.59) it would then be re-barreled.

The triangle with 1,2 and 3 is for bore condition.

I changed my post while you typed that, I missed the stamp over the one!

the bore's condition is rated with "1", that means best condition.
Bore diameter is 6.50 mm (stamped over the zero).
Later stamped 6.51 mm, so that's it.

Actually no markings in the bore condition triangle equals 0 or the best (new) condition, I have a number (a few) without any stamp in this triangle.

The one I have is a 0.49 (0) I bought almost 30 years ago and have only fired about 20 rounds through.

My son is bugging me to take it out now so it may see a few more!

It has the 1 str marking on it as well.
