Hello fellow milsurp fans! Over the years I have accumulated the relevant parts to build a Swedish Mauser except for the receiver. Since there aren't yet any gunshows here locally, I haven't had a chance to price one out.
What could I expect to pay for a receiver?

After accumulating all the parts that’s not what will bring you over budget…
I haven’t seen many for sale over the last decade so you’ll probably end up paying whatever the guy is asking.
100$ plus or minus 50$
 
Do you have a bolt?

Tec sold barreled M38/96 receivers years ago for $125,- The barrels were new (nos). The receivers had a ground down stripper clip hump and were drilled and tapped.

Do you want a non molested receiver or a drilled & tapped example?

I have one of those barreled receivers noted above from Tradex, never got around to building anything with it, let me know if you want it, we can work something out.
