Bubba destroyed the stock of my swedish mauser. I'm having a hell of a time finding another reasonably authentic one. I'm curious, will other mauser stocks (k98, etc) fit a Swedish mauser? How different are they?

sorry but no, the swede is a small ring action
keep looking in parts and bits someone has to have one

I agree with Cam in general, but there are other small ring intermediate length actions. And they should fit. Some of the Spanish Mausers, Mexican small rings, Oberndorf small rings, etc. Ramline makes one if you just want a bubba replacement. Swedes are probably the most common in that size and length though. FWIW - dan

Don't dismiss Bubba as a complete vandal. Some Swedish six-fives have been made into very credible hunting rifles. A former hunting partner of mine opened the chamber to make a 6.5 x .284 pronghorn rifle. It was a super shooter.
