Whatcha think? Bought this Llama Super Commanche last month and was hoping I could get away with putting some N frame grips on it but its a definite no go, too many differences to even think about modding the grips for the revolver accepts them, I may still try but we'll see. Looks like iam stuck with the wood ones.

Beautiful! any range report, and possible comparison between this with 629 classic or redhawk?

Yeah, but the hogues feel nicer after the second box of "snappy" loads....

A quick google came up with this. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=475092546

Don't know how legit it is.

This might be another option if your heart is set on rubber: http://www.cmrubber.com/multi-cavity-compression-molding-silicone-gun-grip.html

Thanks for the links, Iam not sure if regular commanche grips will fit or not, I believe its a smaller framed revolver, I do need to make a numrich order so it might be worth a shot anyway!

Unfortunately I haven't fired any other .44 mags other than a DE, so I have nothing to really compare it to, Accuracy is top notch once I adjusted the sights, Overall finish of the revolver is very nice, by far exceeded what I expected being its a fairly cheap revolver to buy, and trigger pull is fairly decent in DA, in single its a very crisp light break, only downside is the wood grips are pretty rough on the hands after a box of .44 mag.
