Sweets 7.62 copper remover

check with wholesale sports or try CR10 as it has high ammonia content.
just remember don't leave either one in the barrel for more than 15 to 20 minutes if your barrel is chromoly (blued) as it will corrode and pit the barrel real quick.

I ordered and received Sweets by mail[probably not completely legal to ship by mail, but they kindly agreed to mail it] from Bashaw Sports in Alberta, near Edmonton. They have a website, but aren't here on Gunnutz.

Have not seen any in Edmonton, but I use Barnes CR-10 and it seems to work very well for copper removal.

then my 30-06 Savage should be a pile of rust already!
now seriously, said Savage likes copper a lot and I use Sweets 7.62 liberally for extended periods of time to dissolve it. Still getting moa accuracy.

then read the label. it tells you only short periods of time. read the benchrest writeups on barrel cleaning and they say the same thing.
also studies have shown sweet's can damage stainless barrels.
be my guest keep using it for long periods in your barrel. can't wait to hear what it cost for a new barrel.
