Does anyone have load data on Swift Scirocco II's, 150 gr., for .280 Rem?

Swift site offers nothing other than to use data for a comparable bullet, I'd like something a bit more specific. If my rifle likes the box I picked up then I'm likely to buy more and also invest in a manual, otherwise I'll just go back to a known commodity :).

Thanks.

FWIW - I have found Hodgdon's Sft Sci II datato be nearly identical with Barnes #4 data, at least for my .300 WSM. In cases where there are diffences, the Barnes max load data is only slightly higher (good for me when using Sci II to develop loads for my TTSXs, not so good for you).

I suspect that this is so because the exteriors of these bullets are both pure copper.

I was running Barnes TSX bullet in my 300 win mag a few years ago and bought a box of Scirroco's. Went with a medium load of H1000 to start and got just ridiculous velocities, like 3400 fps with a 180 gr bullet. I was so freaked out I pulled the bullets, measured the loads and it was three grains under max for the 180 gr Barnes X.

Very long bearing surface, pressure can go up fast.

I had had enough after that.

Check with one of our new CGN dealers his handle is cidistribution. He is selling Swift Bullets and has a special on right now. Buy two boxes of bullets get a free Swift Reloading Manual.

Thats how I got my manual..I also pm'd some him the load info..last week.
