I need to find a firing pin for a Swiss 1911 long rifle I just bought through a dealer. I noticed someting metal knocking around in the rifle and as I found the firing pin was split in bloody half. I was dissapointed it had arrived in this condition.
I know they are very very simple to swap out for a new one, but where would you find a new one? Preferably within canada.

A new pin is on the way from the dealer, excellent service. Just by chance my local gunsmith had one tucked away in the corner of his shop and I bought that one too. I now have 3, one broken, one replacement and one from the shop.
How interested would the cgn public be if i started making 1911 and K31 replacement pins? If intrest could be generated I'd purchase the necessary raw stuff and get er going.
