Swiss Arms .308

The closest thing to this we will have in Canada is the FAMAE 542..............having said that, I wonder if the magazines might interchange? The Vickers video is cool with all of the slow motion action shots, shows where the FAMAE brass is hitting and getting dented...

We tried. The SAN mags are too large for the FAMAE.

Hokey thread resurrection …. I still wish that the Famae 542's mags were reasonably priced. If they were, the gun would have sold much more enthusiastically.

APC 308 definitely scratches the Swiss 308 itch. Fantastic trigger, fluted barrel, and incredibly tight groups.

Also super impressed with the APC 308. Once it gets more mainstream I bet it gives the Scar a run for its money. The 308 dmr is waaay better balanced and setup than the nr 223's were.

I don't doubt that the APC308 is impressive, but it is priced so that the normal person will never even hold one.

Aside from the fact even the APC223 is over priced and the price on the APC308 ($5400!!!) is full on retard, they still haven't unf*cked that abortion of a butt stock.

I was a hold out on the Famae for a long time over the mags. I finally bit the bullet. They are a fantastic .308 semi.
Very FAL-ish. Accuracy isn't the best (kinda like the FAL lol), but you can reduce that by going with a pic. rail and low optic that eliminates the poorly seating front sight post that doubles as a rather poorly fitting gas block.

It's actually painful that we can't have these here.

*sigh*

Probably for the best. $4000 USD in 2017
