Swiss Arms & a.r.m.s #63

Does any know or have used the arms#63 mount on a Swiss Arms rifle? Would you be able to use the iron sights thru the open channel in the mount and have your T-1 mounted on top?

i have one on my Carbine, and it works, but just barely. the front post is just under the top of the see thru tube when using the iron sights. very limited field of view, especially UP. in a pinch, if my optics went down, you could use it.

my motivation to buy the #63 was to mount a scope on the rifle... the rear drum sights are rather tall, but with the use of the snap on cheek rest, i can use a scope comfortably.

Thanks for the info, doesnt sound like its the ideal setup. There is always the arms#54 but it looks almost too high.

Ozz,

yeah, i looked at the #54 and it would be too high. made to co-witness with an AR15/M16 front sight. the #63 is the closest thing i could find that gives me clearance of the rear drum sight and gives me use of the iron sights thru it.
