Swiss Arms Bayonet...my search is over

I finally found a bayo for the swiss. It's a Wenger and it showed up this week after a bit of hunting around. Probably the nicest setup I've seen, no play and no rattle. Fits without any mods to the original setup. Hats off to the Swiss.

Why would you need a bayo....Ya know, for when those gophers or yotes get out of control

Plus, the rifle has a lug, doesn't that mean you HAVE TO have a bayonet for it?

I got a STG57 bayonet for 20$+sh from Trade Ex. It's surplus in excellent condition.

Mine had no holder/belt rig for the scabbard. Any suggestion beside a canadian surplus?

They did have some at Tradex similiar to what I got but it had a NATO style attachment. I found this one at Colorado Gun Sales for $130.

It makes as good a knife as it does a bayonet, very comfortable and sturdy.

I'm not sure what you tried to order, but I don't think a bayonet is considered a 'gun part', maybe that's why it was OK for this item.

Looks about as nice as the bayo for my Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 Rifle. Locks up tight as a drum on the rifle.

The Swiss have been doing it right for a long time when in comes to firearms.

Good find! When I purchase a rifle, a military-based rifle, I always make sure it has the capability to attach a bayonet. Just wouldn't seem right without.
