Swiss arms carbine handguard rail?

If you are looking to use any bipod other than the Swiss Arms (which you wouldn’t with carbine handguards), your best bet would be the B&T front handguard/ quad picitinny rail. Couple that with the original butt stock and a cheek riser for the scope.
The quad rail adds weight and doesn’t float the barrel and gas system, but it looks like the way it is set up, it isn’t light anyhow.
Or, (and Imho the best setup and use), you should strip it down and run an RMR or Aimpoint max. or right down to the bare bones and use it as intended - offhand and positional shooting with irons.

Thanks for the advice. I know it's not a bolt gun and I don't want to do crazy accurate shoot with it. I'm trying to find a way to develop a good load for it without inducing too much error from my part. After the load development, my intention is to run it with iron sight or my Specter DR.
I personally think you should trade it for the rifle version with the bipod in the handguard if you are going to run it with that optic. If you dont want to spend the money on the expensive rail then your only real options are get a bayonet lug adapter for the versa pod (see link), drill holes into handguard and add a cheap aftermarket rail (probably would be crap and also devalue the handguard) or find a cheap clamp on barrel adapter, last option would to just use sandbags or a gun rest of some sort like the leadsled. Like I said my first choice would be get the rifle, second would be the pricey rail, 3rd would be the adapter. carbines are awesome but better off set up for more fun close up quick shooting with a red dot or smaller low powered optic.
Oh there is also a guy on the EE right now selling his carbine, he has a vertical grip installed, you could ask how he set it up, maybe there is a small rail built for them that we dont know about.
