Was the swissarms cheekpiece designed for proper cheek weld with a scope mounted on a aftermarket rail on a PE90 with iron sights, vs. the flat top versions?
With my TA33R8 compact ACOG, I needed the cheekpiece to get a really good consistent, after switching to a Larue 105 mini ACOG mount, I found it sat lower and I no longer need a cheekpiece, however given that the stock drops I do ok with a low cheek (near upper teeth) vs. cheek bone index. This will work just fine with earmuffs.
I'm considering using a Larue mount or ADM to give my Leupold MRT 1.5-5X scope another chance. I think those mounts will give the extended eyerelief for that scope to work at 1.5X (which is much longer E.R. vs. 5X setting)
With the Flat Top Carbine version, would a Larue 1.93 work with the cheek piece?
Also for Gunnutz with full size PE90 iron sights ad KP rail, What height of Larue would work for proper height with cheek piece...1.5 or 1.93?
