It really looks like they (RCMP) "got to him" (Blaney) when he went on that firearms tour that they put on for him recently....

I don't have one, don't have an 858 either but just waiting for one that I do have to be flagged and banned.
Personally I think that if the RCMP wants to go after these, then the RCMP who signed off on them being legal to import in the first place should be nailed to the wall for trafficking prohib guns into the country. They still want to seize them? Compensate the purchase price plus inflation. Pull the money for the compensation from the RCMP's budget or better yet from the pension of the ****wads that are responsible for this **** show.
A simple fact of the matter is that possession of an auto parts group for this rifle is a criminal offense. Installing one on this rifle is a separate offense. If the RCMP goofed on the original classification they can rely on existing rules to prevent any of these guns ever firing more than 1 round on a trigger squeeze.
 
Spoke with My MP today!
In short was well received and told send out a email To PM and himself with my indignation.
It was Also indicated to me that my Letter could be forwarded to the PM.

Also Signed the petition.

Just a note to say that we are very willing to work with Swiss Arms owners to take possession of any newly prohibited rifles while this situation gets worked out. We already do this for other prohibs and have saved many from the crusher. We sincerely hope NO SANs get crushed over this sad spectacle.

If anyone is facing a seizure order, call us before turning in your rifle.
