Swiss Arms extractor issues

Hey everyone just was out firing a new to me Swiss arms rifle when the extractor blew out of it. Quite the let down since I fired only 25 or so rounds out of it. Now I was able to recover the extractor and spring but after searching with a large magnet the surrounding area I cannot find the pin. Does anyone have a spare extractor pin kicking around or knows where to get one? Thanks

Ok update: CSC has them for like $90 or $100 I don’t remember which one it was. Comes with the extractor, extractor pin and the spring needed to get it back up and running.

But I am impatient so while that is ordered I decided to use a pen spring for the spring and it turns out a coat hanger is the perfect size so I used that as the pin and it is running better than before.

It was probably broken when you got it....a good reason to do a detailed stripping and assembly on buying a new or used firearm.

Thats a part that breaks frequently. Between my 3 rifles I broke the extractor pin three times. Once on my 551LB and twice on my 553LB. After around 10'000 rds it can be expected to break on a 553. On my former service rifle it just lasts forever (so far)

The big guns...lasts forever
Medium guns.....pretty long time, 10K maybe less
Little high pressure guns....about the 5K mark, especially in burst and a bit of full auto fire.

If you can find the extractor, they are tempered and hardened and almost never break....just the retaining pin breaks.
I'd always go with a new spring though.

*When suppressed....little high pressure guns tend to still fire and function even with a missing extractor as long as they are reasonably clean.

PS: Barrels still acceptable accuracy at 25K.

Possibly or maybe it was the stars aligning and multiple things going wrong, first time an extractor has blown out on me but it was an easy enough fix.
