What's the conventional wisdom on this to keep the crud build up under control?

After cleaning the tube, do you leave it dry, oiled, CLP'd, or lightly greased with some of that grease goop in the cleaning kit, or something else?

Run it dry for now... It IS a bit of work to scrape the baked on carbon off the gas system components, BUT... Mine hasn't stopped on me yet, even when I did leave it for three range sessions and about 1000 rounds total.

I'll be trying an experiment with baked on Militec, as soon as I can convince my wife that it is okay to cook gun parts in the oven...

Then we can do a comparison, to see which is easier to clean!
