If you hold your BLACK SPECIAL/CLASSIC GREEN by the pistol grip and forstock and kinda try to gently twist is there any play or movement between where the upper and lower meet?

Is there any way to shim the forend to prevent this wiggle ?

I am not physically familiar with this firearm, but usually everything has a purpose. If this is part of the construction standard of the rifle it may be needed to allow flexing or something to that effect.

My Blk Spec. had the wiggle and was very very accurate and NEVER had a FTF/FTE.

Great rifles...Wish the CQB or Carbine as Non-restricted

pitdogboy,

Yea, I've had a jam. It was a fail to extact. I have about 9K through mine and got a jam at about the 6 k mark. Bad thing was I didn't know what to do out of shock. I was more interested in seeing why than clearing it because it has only happened once.

One jam in over 9000 rounds of various types, reloads ect. Not too many guns that can do that.
