Swiss Arms PE90 shooting at 550m

Neat.

So since there's no shooting in this vid I gotta ask, was this done with bag under the mag or handguard rested on the bag? I hear the Swiss has a bit of MOA drift with the handguard as a rest, or is that just when using the factory bipod?

Neat video either way, thanks for posting.

It's nice to see what these rifles are capable of out that far when you have a good optic. Was this hand loads? Or standard 55gr FMJ? Personally, I really (And I mean really) start to suffer beyond about 450M with my Classic Green, but that's with iron sights. I tried shooting some 55gr AE at 500M with just the irons and got about 80% hit's on a figure 11, not bad I thought, but not great either.

Nice quarry too!

You need to try a heavier bullet. 55gr doesn't do so great at those ranges, too much effect from the wind.

While I agree, a heavier bullet would help a bit, the point I was trying to make was, regardless of bullet weight, when shooting these rifles without an optic, reaching out past 450-500M is quite difficult for me.

That is quite difficult for anyone at that range with standard irons. Be happy with your 80% Mr, its a good hit rate.
