I have a Swiss Arms Classic Green (carbine for what it's worth). There is a little bit of wiggle between the upper and lower receiver. I know this isn't unusual and minor (I've seen a lot worse in some AR's and C7's), but it still bugs me from time to time.

Q: Anyone know of a way to get rid of this, perhaps wedging something (without damaging any parts) in between the upper and lower?

I've seen a wedge for AR's available. Is there anything similar for the Swiss Arms?

Thanks.

I have the same gun, just go and buy some O-rings 8 or 9mm i cant remember, just measure the diameter of the take down pins. Use 2 on the rear pin and 1 on the front pin. It works quite well and its cheap.

...and unnecessary! A slight amount of play has absolutely zero impact on accuracy or performance.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I'll pass on the welding idea. Maybe I'll try the O-rings or earplug.

I took my lower rec. (just at the end where the holes for the pin are) and put it in a vise ( with padded jaws) and just squeezed the gap closed just a little bit. Everything good now. :D
