Swiss Arms

I have owned carbines and CQB's. They are fantastic rifles. Not worth $3000 in my opinion. A fair price on a very good cond used SAN anything is around the $2200-$2500 mark. Don't pay more for them then that. Prices are high right now simply due to the fact that will be avail again. If anyone is interested in purchasing ,wait till all the excitement dies down and you'll see the prices that I quote above.
Don't think a change in Govt will make a difference on a particular brand or model mil type rifle . With all the fuss kicked up over the SAN and CZ debacle, I think they learned how ridiculous they were ☺️

Long before they went prohib, the average used price for a Swiss Arms was $2700. You are not getting one for $2200, not then and not now, unless the guy selling it gives you the deal of the decade.

I think $3000 is a great price if you really want one of these because with the dollar now and the SAN factory upping its prices on everything in the last couple years they will be at least 4k if imported again . it is the most well made NR semi .223 rifle you can buy , is it worth 3K ? is a KAC rifle worth that too ? yes cheaper guns will do the same job . It is Swiss made afterall , nothing cheap is made there .

I have it from a very good source who is in the know that the price will be likely considerably higher than 4k. Given the dramatic drop in the Canadian $ and decoupling of the Swiss franc from the Euro (and subsequent climb) and the increased price from SAN, any new ones will likely retail in the $4600 to $4750 range. Ouch!

It is all speculation till they are actually brought in again
A site sponsor has 2 restricted carbines for 2800$ plus tax and shipping which works out too 3100ish for sale right now

In that case a NR will definitly be worth more than a restricted... Fun factor 101... JP.

They simply wont sell for over 4000$ if it does happens. With the modern hunter and XCR our there getting sub MOA who would spend 4 k+? Who ever is importing will either stop importing because they don't sell or lower the price.

If you add up the numbers for a modern hunter, it's a 4k+ rifle, closer to 5k I think.
In my humble opinion, the XCR beats a Swiss in price and Stanag mag compatibility only. ;)

The Classic green is my dream rifle, and if I wasn't already 75% into another build (which is already over budget like any good build!) I'd be stretching my gun budget to pick one up asap.
Oh hell, who am I kidding, I'll find a way!

Like others have mentioned, I think the $3500 Swiss arms on the EE right now might be the last of the "cheap" ones we will see.

If you are referring to those two from Ellp they are both "USED".
And most people bought them when our dollars was higher.
I would expect the new one will be $3800 or higher.

I intend to try this... JP.

I like it. I'm also going to have more fun this year. Starting with hopefully getting another Swiss!
