I just take a look on Corwin firearms and they sell Swiss revolvers at 395$. Not even Tradeex four years ago was not able to offer this price. I paid in 2016 495$ at Tradeex for my Swiss revolver.

Martin said he will bring few to choose from to Chilliwack show but the show got cancelled. Chief CFO for BC was always there for transfers so any restricted transfer was done under 1 hour

For the record: 32 S&W brass will split when fired out of my 1882 model. But that is a great deal for anyone looking at these models!

Likely an old question but...… Why are these not antiques?

I have one that is, all my other ones are not. I'm guessing it has to do with the manufacture date?

7. A handgun manufactured before 1898 that is capable of discharging centre-fire cartridges, other than a handgun designed or adapted to discharge 32 Short Colt, 32 Long Colt, 32 Smith and Wesson, 32 Smith and Wesson Long, 32-20 Winchester, 38 Smith and Wesson, 38 Short Colt, 38 Long Colt, 38-40 Winchester, 44-40 Winchester, or 45 Colt cartridges.

For antique status they must be a caliber that isn't on the no-go list AND be produced in 1897 or earlier, the caliber is fine but only about 7500 model 1882's were produced in the antique time window and production continued until 1929 when they started making the revised model

Yes I looked at those but waited too long, I think Tradeex samples were close to new, I remember thinking that some may not have even been shot! What condition was the one you bought from Tradeex?

Model 1929 close to new. Older model (state of art workmanship} the same as Corwin condition. Older model was at Tradeex around 595$, of course +tax+ship. Ended near 700$.

Thanks for the tip Cornelunc.

Your welcome. I have both models. If I was missing one, I will buy right now. Very cheap original Swiss product.
Lower quality millions made Nagant revolvers started in Canada for 250$ and now they may be 800-900$.
