Hi CGNers. The Swiss Rifle Club Calgary is hosting an Openhouse on August 25th from 9am to 11:45am. The event is meant for people that are interested in joining the club in 2019 (January 15, 2019 we open up the membership) and are 18 years or older that have a valid PAL.
If you just want to come and have a look around and ask questions, then there is no cost. If you would like to shoot for a bit then there is a $20 guest pass fee. You can shoot your own rifle up to 338 Lapua, or use the club rifles (PE90 and K31). Use of the club rifles is free, but you need to buy club ammunition which costs 60 cents per round, minimum 10 rounds. Also included in the guest pass fee is access to the pistol bay where you can try our club handguns for free, with the purchase of club ammunition at 60 cents per round, minimum 10 rounds. No personal handguns will be permitted at this event. All sales require you bring exact cash.
While this will really interest the K31 & PE90 crowd, that is not a requirement. It's just an event for you to check us out, and for us to check you out too!
